Founded in 2006, Lady Anne Funerals is built on the belief that every individual is unique and deserves a personalised celebration of life. We honour all faiths and cultures, continually evolving our understanding of individual practices and beliefs.

Karen Laing entered the industry over 30 years ago and quickly recognised the male dominance in the field, identifying the need for an all-female team. Now, she is the proud owner of an Australian-owned and Independent funeral home in the Sydney community, offering a compassionate alternative to the increasingly monopolised funeral industry.

Located in Gladesville on Sydney's Lower North Shore, we offer all the essential facilities and services for a meaningful funeral. Families can trust that their loved ones will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity.

With over 30 years of experience, Karen is dedicated to excellence in every aspect of service. We specialise in creating personalised celebrations while adhering to all legal requirements.

When you choose Lady Anne, you choose a complete and compassionate service tailored to your needs.

The colour purple carries a range of meanings and symbolism across different contexts and cultures. It is often linked to creativity, imagination, and originality.

At Lady Anne Funerals, purple represents tranquillity and emotional balance. Colour psychology suggests that purple has calming effects and is  associated with compassion, empathy, and healing.

Additionally, purple holds significance in ceremonial contexts, such as academic regalia and religious vestments, symbolising dignity, respect, and solemnity.

Butterflies with their transformative life cycle from caterpillar to chrysalis to adult, symbolize personal growth and change. This imagery is frequently used in literature and art to represent renewal and evolution.
